Industries — HOSPITALITY: HOTEL TV & ENTERTAINMENT· MANHATTAN & THE NY/NJ METRO
Hotel TV & entertainment for NY & NJ: the welcome screen, the channels and casting, ready in every room.
A guest turns on the TV in the first five minutes, and what happens next sets the tone for the stay: their name on the welcome screen, every channel in clean HD, their own shows cast from their phone. All of it rides the link between the TV platform, the PMS and the network underneath. NYC IT Works engineers and supports the hospitality TV systems you run, LG, Samsung and Philips among them, across the NY and NJ metro, keeps the headend and the PMS integration healthy, and handles the parts a cable installer leaves behind, from secure distribution to the bandwidth that keeps streaming off your guest Wi-Fi.

WHERE THE TV MEETS THE PMS
The welcome screen, casting and movie charges only work when the TV talks to the PMS and the network.
What a guest remembers are the touches that cross between systems: their name waiting on the screen at check-in, a film begun on a phone and finished on the glass, a late rental that lands quietly on the folio rather than at the desk. Keep the television, its PMS link and the network beneath them in good health and those touches simply land, with no 11pm call about a remote. The harder parts get the same care, from encrypted HD distribution to a streaming lane that leaves the guest Wi-Fi untouched, at every property you operate in NY and NJ.
WHAT WE KEEP RUNNING
A great in-room TV is three things at once: a clean picture, a personal welcome, and channels it’s licensed to show.
THE PICTURE
Every channel, every room, in HD
The headend, the distribution plant and the televisions themselves all stay healthy, so a guest finds every channel in a clean picture and the desk is not troubleshooting a dark screen at check-in. We keep the signal and the network under it working across the whole property.
THE GUEST EXPERIENCE
Their name and folio on the screen, their shows on the TV
The TV talks to the PMS: a welcome screen with the guest’s name, express checkout and room-service ordering, films billed to the folio, and casting from a guest’s own phone. We keep that integration working so the experience a guest expects from home is there in the room.
CONTENT DONE RIGHT
Licensed sources, secure distribution
Commercial channel sources and Pro:Idiom secure distribution are what keep a property’s TV both legal and watchable. We configure and document those controls on your headend and work to your commercial agreements. We build and document; we don’t hold your content licenses.

THE PLATFORMS WE WORK ACROSS
We know hospitality TV from the pms integration to the Guest entertainment.
Behind the major hospitality TV platforms, interactive and standard alike, sit a headend, a distribution plant and a stack of integrations, and that is what we support; the Pro:Idiom protocol allows secure HD distribution that many commercial channels require. We help a property carry its old coax toward IP distribution. Knowing these systems from the inside is how we land the welcome screen, secure distribution and casting correctly the first time.

INTERFACES & INTEGRATIONS
A great in-room screen is a dozen systems agreeing with each other.
A name on the welcome screen, a film billed to the right room, every channel arriving in clean HD: the television produces none of it on its own. Each is a handoff, to the PMS for the guest and the folio, to the headend for the lineup, to the encryption that guards commercial channels, to the network lane that carries streaming while the guest Wi-Fi stays quick. We build and record those links at each of your NY and NJ properties, so a screen that is merely on becomes a screen that earns its place in the stay.
PMS INTEGRATION
Welcome Screen, Checkout & Folio
A welcome screen that greets the guest by name, express checkout and room-service ordering from the remote, and films or events billed to the folio all ride the link between the TV platform and the PMS. We keep that interface current so the screen a guest sees matches the room they are in.
GUEST CASTING & APP STREAMING
The Content Guests Love
Guests expect to watch their own accounts on the room TV. We build casting and smart systems that pairs a phone or their streaming services to only that room’s screen and clears at checkout, isolated on the network so no guest ever sees another guest’s content.
CONTENT SOURCE
Headend, Channels & Streaming
The channel lineup starts at the headend, where satellite, IPTV and streaming sources are received and distributed to every room. We configure and support that headend to your commercial content agreements so the lineup is complete and consistent floor to floor.
SECURE DISTRIBUTION
Pro:Idiom & the Room Plant
Many commercial channels require Pro:Idiom encryption to reach a hotel screen legally and in HD. We configure that secure distribution across the coax or IP plant and keep it working as televisions are swapped and floors are renovated.
NETWORK & BANDWIDTH
VLAN, Multicast & QoS
In-room streaming and IPTV can swamp a network that was built for web browsing. We put TV traffic on its own lane with multicast and quality-of-service, so the picture holds and the guest Wi-Fi never slows down behind it.
PUBLIC DISPLAYS
Lobby Screens & Digital Signage
The screens a guest sees outside the room, lobby video, bar and restaurant displays, event and wayfinding signage, share the same managed network and content tools. We support those integrations so the public spaces look as considered as the rooms.
GENERALIST AV & ISP VS HOSPITALITY-GRADE SUPPORT
A home TV just needs a cable box. A hotel TV runs the welcome screen, casting and the folio.
One vendor sees a hundred identical living rooms. The other has already wired the headend, the PMS link and the content licensing into a system that behaves the same in every room, floor after floor.

HOW IT WORKS
Three steps from a floor full of remote-control calls to a TV nobody mentions.
01
Book a 15-Minute Call
Tell us what TV platform you run and where it hurts: the welcome screen, casting, dead channels, streaming choking the Wi-Fi, the after-hours remote calls. No commitment.
03
Your Plan, Documented
You get a plain-English plan, a fixed quote and the documented setup, yours to act on with us or on your own.
02
Free TV & Entertainment Assessment
A senior engineer comes on-site to inspect the headend, the secure-distribution plant, the PMS link and the network lane under it all, across NY and NJ, then lists exactly what is missing.

THE WHOLE STACK
Behind every screen is a building we already run end to end.
What a hotel actually runs on: the engineering pillars underneath, the experience a guest can see and touch, and the builds made for hospitality and nothing else, with a single crew answerable for the lot.
Networks & Infrastructure
FOUNDATION
Video is the heaviest load a property network carries, and it shares one backbone with every other system. We build and hold that backbone end to end: redundant internet paths, structured cabling and coax into each room, PoE switching to every screen, firewalls at the edge, and the servers behind the headend. Streaming and IPTV get a lane of their own, so the picture never stutters and nothing else gives way to make room. Lose the upstream and a standby path keeps the channels alive.
Built Only For Hotels
HOSPITALITY BUILDS
Hospitality depends on systems you will find in no other industry. In-room entertainment is one of them; alongside it sit the front-desk PMS, the electronic locks and mobile keys, the guest-room phones, the building-management controls and the staff duress alarms. Each meets the property network at a seam, and those seams are ours to own. Every system here has its own spoke to open.
Cybersecurity
PILLAR
A guest-facing screen, and the casting that feeds it, is a way onto the property network, and an unguarded one invites trouble. First we wall the video lane off from payment and back-office traffic. Then the rest gets the defense the whole property gets: endpoints under managed detection and response around the clock, email and DNS filtered, access control and cameras watched, staff trained, and the PCI-DSS evidence a card brand will ask for kept current.
AI Infrastructure
PILLAR
Some groups want AI in the building, a concierge that answers from the TV, a read on what guests actually watch, with no guest record ever crossing the property line. That means on-premise by design: an AI server you own, models that never leave the site, and retrieval across your own content, guide and service data. Every answer is drawn from your data and stays there.
Smart Spaces
EXPERIENCE LAYER
The experience a guest walks into beyond the room: sound through the lobby, bar and restaurant, a video matrix driving big-screen moments, wayfinding and digital signage, lighting and climate that follow a scene. All of it shares the segmented network the room TVs ride, and all of it is engineered as one. Commercial AV opens as its own spoke.
Managed IT
ONE ACCOUNTABLE TEAM
The team behind every layer above. Your people reach a staffed help desk, in person or remote, at any hour. Out of sight the steady work runs: endpoints and servers patched and watched without a pause, backups taken and tested, a disaster-recovery plan ready, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace kept in order, plus vCIO planning and co-managed IT for the in-house team. Pull that crew out and nothing above survives.
PARTNER
PARTNER
THE NETWORK THE PICTURE ACTUALLY RIDES ON.
The picture is only as steady as the network beneath it, so we build that network on Ubiquiti UniFi: switching that drives every screen, multicast and quality-of-service tuned for clean video, and the same managed platform that also carries guest Wi-Fi, the cameras and door access. N-able watches and patches it around the clock. What you are left with is one documented network for every property, video included, minded by the same team you call when a floor goes dark.
Systems we work across: LG Pro:Centric · Samsung Hospitality · Philips MediaSuite · Pro:Idiom · DIRECTV · Chromecast · Apple TV · Fire Stick · COM2000 headend · And More!
The network, the headend and the integrations under your TV platform are ours to keep healthy. We don’t sell the televisions, and we don’t hold your content licenses. What we do is keep the welcome screen, the casting and every channel alive, property after property across New York and New Jersey.
